Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. Last updated May 18, 2026.

LumenEntity ("we", "us") provides a SaaS platform for monitoring SEO and AI search visibility. We respect your privacy and only collect the data we need to operate the product. This page is a working draft — please consult our legal team for any specific question about your jurisdiction.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, work email, hashed password, workspace name. Provided by you when you sign up.
  • Product data: the domains, keywords and prompts you configure, plus the search and AI engine responses we capture on your behalf.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, errors encountered. Collected via Google Analytics 4 and our own server logs.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we store only the last four digits and the card brand.

2. Why we collect it

  • To deliver the contracted service.
  • To improve product quality and prevent abuse.
  • To send transactional emails (security alerts, billing).
  • To comply with applicable laws (tax, accounting).

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

For EU and UK customers we process personal data under the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interest (product analytics, security) and, where required, consent (non-essential cookies and marketing emails).

4. Who we share it with

We use a small set of sub-processors to operate the service: cloud infrastructure, transactional email, error monitoring, analytics and payment processing. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

5. International transfers

Some sub-processors are located outside the European Economic Area. When we transfer personal data internationally we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. Data retention

  • Account data: while your workspace is active, plus 30 days.
  • Product data: while your workspace is active.
  • Logs and analytics: up to 14 months.
  • Billing records: as required by tax law (typically 6–10 years).

7. Your rights

Subject to local law you may request access, rectification, deletion, portability or restriction of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@lumenentity.com.

8. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies described in our cookie policy. Non-essential cookies are loaded only after consent where required.
